Design

There is so much to think about isn't there? how to hide that manhole cover in the middle of the path; what to do with that dark, damp corner; where to put the shed so that it can't be seen; what size should the patio be to ensure it is in proportion with the house?

These are all problems that I, as a profession garden designer, can overcome for you. From making the most of a sloping site to ensuring that your garden is safe for your young children, pets or elderly relatives, my aim is to ensure that your garden is ideal for you.

You may want a garden that is going to mature over several years or you may need a more immediate result due to changing circumstances, I can help you whatever the situation.

There are so many different materials to choose from these days too; my job is to help you choose the ones that suit your lifestyle and budget.

Planting

If you love browsing round nurseries then going home to plant your new found purchases, that's great. I'll be happy to provide you with a planting plan which details the plants and shrubs that will thrive in your garden and look good, providing year around interest. Then you can plant to your heart's content.

If digging really isn't for you, I'll be more than happy to source all the plants and do it for you.

Choosing the right plants for the right places in your garden is really important. So is making sure that your soil is in the best condition. I will make sure that your garden has the best possible start.

Construction

If you want to do the hard work yourself, that’s fine by me! I’ll supply you with the construction plans and you can get to grips with laying the patio, digging the pond and building those walls.

You might already know someone who will do it for you, that’s fine too.

Alternatively, we can do it all for you. No matter what the job, our experienced construction team will be able to tackle it.

I can supply detailed factsheets on many of the features that have been included in your garden to help you keep them looking good. These include:
