The walling was dismantled and rebuilt following the original lines. The path was curved to reflect the curve of the walls. As much planting as possible was retained to ensure that privacy was maintained. |

There were some excellent pieces of stone that made up the original steps but the unattractive tarmac path and overgrown planting meant that this area was of little practical use . |

The original stone steps were re-used and the walling rebuilt to support the new large area of yorkstone flags. |
