Garden design and construction |
This client wanted a cottage garden with somewhere to sit to enjoy the sun instead of this dull area of tarmac. We created a decked area with different levels so that they could walk straight out of the raised back door. With the addition of paths, a pergola and lots of planting the area was transformed to this…. |

2. From grass to exotic planting |
This garden belonged to a renovated farmhouse and the owner wanted an exotic garden using materials that we could reclaim from their outbuildings and fields………. |

3. From building site to traditional garden |
Before…….. |
After extensive building works this garden was in a very sorry state and was dominated by the tall conifer hedge. By moving trees, laying a path to the bottom of the garden and a host of other features, we changed the whole feel of the garden………. |

4. From wilderness to Japanese garden |
Before…….. |
This garden had been untended for a couple of years and had become a haven for wildlife. The owner, however, wanted a restful area with a Japanese theme to incorporate water, oriental planting, rockeries, gravel and seating areas. |

5. From tumbledown patio to impressive terrace |
This was a large south-facing patio area that had become overgrown and the walling was in poor repair. The walling was completely taken down and rebuilt and the whole area laid with new riven yorkstone to create an extensive useable area. |
