From grass to exotic planting

Before...

...after...
A beautiful weeping willow provides the backdrop for the source of the newly created stream which now runs across the garden. The stream runs into the pond over a large piece of worn stone which was the original back doorstep of the farmhouse.
The slate for the stream bed, the stone for the path and pond edgings and all the pieces of timber were reclaimed which gave the garden a feeling of having been established for a long time . These photographs were taken as soon as the garden was completed.
The original dry stone wall was taken down and recuilt to allow the garden to be extended to include the lawn, pond and patio.
